ABOUT
Brandon Pennick — Writer & Director
Brandon Pennick is a self-taught filmmaker, storyteller, and screenwriter with a strong ability to craft immersive narratives that blend historical intrigue, psychological tension, metaphysics, and the unknown. His storytelling style bridges reality and the extraordinary, often exploring themes of perception, power, fringe science, and hidden forces. Through hands-on creative development, he has built a distinctive cinematic voice, with strengths in world-building, genre storytelling, screenwriting, directing, and producing.
His Gothic horror film Sedalia earned critical acclaim on the festival circuit, particularly in Europe, and continues to reach audiences through streaming platforms. He later filmed Maleum’s Crucible in Los Angeles, developing it into a feature exploring metaphysics, power, and perception; the screenplay was officially accepted into the 25th Anniversary Beverly Hills Film Festival.
Brandon is now producing Phenomena, his next feature film currently in pre-production, using Unreal Engine to create an all-CG cinematic world. Set in fictional Spain, the project weaves fringe science, relics of the Reconquista, the Spanish Inquisition, rogue entities, hybrid technologies, and metaphysical mystery into an ambitious genre-defying feature that reflects his commitment to innovative filmmaking and emerging cinematic technologies.
